CNC TECHNICAL SERVICES & WARRANTY
SPECIFICATIONS.
What
is Covered Under Warranty and for How Long ?
CNC
guarantees that any product sold by CNC will
be covered under Warranty and free of
defects for a period of one year from our
original invoice date. All parts and labor
are covered under this Warranty. CNC
provides a complete one-year
"ON-SITE” WARRANTY on our computer
systems at no additional charge, with the
option for an extended warranty covering up
to five years. The superior quality of our
systems and components is assured by using
only the finest components in name brand
computer hardware and by our rigorous
testing procedures; this pre-testing policy
keeps hardware failures to minimum. Our
experienced professional staff takes pride
in providing our customers with a superior
level of computing products and technical
services, CNC provides only the finest
quality computer systems to our customers.
How
is a Service Call Handled ?
End
users place a service call to initiate
repairs. Our technicians will attempt to
diagnose and correct problems via the
telephone locally, and determine whether the
problem is hardware or software related, and
then, what solutions are appropriate to
clear up the problem through direct phone
support. In the event that it is determined
that a hardware failure has occurred, we
will set up an appointment to dispatch a
technician to go on-site and repair the
equipment.
If the equipment is diagnosed as
irreparable on-site, the equipment will be
taken back to our service facility for
completion of repairs. CNC is not
responsible for lost data or additional
repairs due to the installation or use of
unauthorized components, misuse, neglect
and/or any warranty specifications not
complied with, as described in our Return
Merchandise Authorization “RMA” policy. We back our products and services with local guarantee and
local technical services, and you can be
assured that every step will be taken to
ensure the appropriate steps are made to
correct any computing problems as quickly as
possible.
What
is Our Normal Response Time ?
After
the initial service call has been diagnosed
as an "On-Site" service call, our
technicians will schedule an appointment to
dispatch a service technician to your
location within 24 to 48 hours.
If the end user is located outside of
our normal service area, calls will be made
within 72 hours.
CNC’s business hours are Monday
through Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM EST. (Holidays
Excluded.)
Who
Will Perform the Service Work ?
As
the original selling dealer, CNC is the
authorized service center for all computing
equipment sold to our clients. We supply
local expertise technical services on all
computing, network, and peripheral
equipment, therefore, expediting repairs of
any equipment or components to ensure
complete customer satisfaction.
What
are the CNC Warranty Specifications ?
CNC
warranties that the original purchaser of
our computing equipment, including any and
all additional products sold, will be in
good working condition and free from defects
for three years (parts & labor) from the
original purchase invoice date. Extended
warranties are available at the customer’s
request for up to five years. Should the
products, in the opinion of CNC, malfunction
during this period, we will repair or replace the
defective products at no charge. This
exclusive
program is for original CNC customers
only, with an original CNC purchase invoices
only. The repair and/or replacement of
products will be furnished on an exchange
basis and will be either new or
remanufactured. All products returned for
replacement will become the property of CNC.
This does not cover repair or replacement of
any product damaged through accident,
disaster, misuse, abuse, neglect, or non-CNC
authorized alterations, components,
modifications, and/or repairs. The CNC RMA
policy is that only our Certified
Technicians shall make the final
determination as to the existence or cause
of any alleged defect. This applies to
hardware products and components only. This
is in lieu of any other warranties, whether
expressed, written or implied. In no event,
will CNC be liable to the buyer or end user
for direct, indirect, special, or
consequential damages, such as loss of
profits or business opportunities, in no
event, shall CNC’s liability exceed the
current market value of the product as
stated on the original invoice. CNC will not
be responsible for any lost data due to
circumstances beyond our control, each
user/server should practice regular back-ups
of all system data and confirm that all data
is stored properly
for use in emergency recovery
situations.
What
About Maintenance Service Contracts ?
We
offer On-Site and Off-Site maintenance
service contracts for authorized CNC
equipment and existing equipment not
originally purchased from CNC. Our
maintenance service contracts are available
on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual or
annual basis, with on-site or off-site
technical repair service policy.
We offer a free on-site maintenance
survey to determine repair or replacement
cost for your computing or network
equipment, annual maintenance, technical
servicing and optimization of existing
